Master Sergeant Jeremy D Laukhuf

Master Sergeant Jeremy D. Laukhuf, bass, hails from Lima, Ohio. He graduated from Lima Bath High School, and then went on to attend Ohio State University where he received the Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies. He entered the Air Force in June 1999, and was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, with the Heartland of America Band.  While there, he was the bassist and musical director for the popular music group Night Wing.  Prior to entering the United States Air Force, he performed as a professional bassist in jazz, blues, salsa, rock, and pop bands.  He has also performed in local symphonies, churches and stage productions.  He joined The United States Air Force Academy Band in May 2002. He is currently the bassist and musical director for Blue Steel.
